But given that The Daily Show has only ever had male hosts-Stewart, Noah, and the series first host Craig Kilborn-and the overwhelming maleness of late night television writ large, it's hard to imagine that the powers that be at The Daily Show wouldn't at least be open to getting a female or non-male identifying anchor behind the desk. and Chieng as potential successors to Noah.
